Submitting things by email
Deadlines
If there is no official deadline then the default deadlines are like this:
For a presentation in class that is not supposed to be reworked but just sent as is (and this is most presentations), the deadline is 2AM the next morning after the presentation. So if you presented on a Tuesday, the deadline is Wednesday 2AM.
For a presentation in class that I ask to be reworked, the deadline is 2AM the next next morning after the presentation. So if you presented on a Tuesday, the deadline is Thursday 2AM.
Email subject line
As stated in the syllabus, the subject line is ALWAYS
EA105_LASTNAME_classname
but can have added to it an "assignment tag" such as
EA105_Step01_LASTNAME_classname
and/or an "keyword"
EA105_Step01_LASTNAME_classname question
EA105_LASTNAME_classname randomcomment
*Your classname is your first name as on the roster or another first name you have asked me to use instead. USE THE SAME FIRST NAME OVER AND OVER, NEVER SWITCHING, please!
*When it is group work, as it almost always is, it would be VERY NICE if you can get your group letter into the subject line as part of a keyword, or into the body of the email, or both, so I don't have to keep looking up the group on the chart.
*So, if you are unsure as to what is the correct subject line your question to me should be something like "Is there an assignment tag I'm supposed to use?" or "Is there a keyword I'm supposed to use?"
